Managing Director


Christopher J. Collins joined Leoville in 2000, became Managing Director of Stockwell Capital in 2006, and currently oversees the more than $700 million in coinvestment capital under management at the firm. Mr. Collins has spent a 14-year career in private equity investing, commercial banking, and mezzanine finance; he is also a Senior Vice President of Leoville Holdings, the parent of Stockwell Capital, as well as President of Edgemere Capital, another of Leoville's affiliates. Previous to his current roles with Stockwell and Leoville, Mr. Collins served as a Vice President of Leoville's lead-sponsor buyout business, Glencoe Capital, where he was involved in numerous transactions and served as advisor on various other transactions, including co-investments and secondary fund investments completed by Leoville's affiliates. Prior to his joining Glencoe Capital, Mr. Collins was a Vice President in commercial banking at The Northern Trust Company, where he was responsible for a portfolio primarily consisting of privately-held, middle-market companies. Before joining The Northern Trust Company, he was with ANB Mezzanine Corporation and American National Bank & Trust Company of Chicago (now part of JPMorgan Chase). Mr. Collins earned a B.A. in economics and political science from the University of Michigan and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.




Beth A. Satterfield
CFO & COO


Beth A. Satterfield joined Leoville Holdings LLC, the corporate parent of Stockwell Capital, in 2000. She has been a Senior Vice President and the Chief Financial Officer of both Leoville and Stockwell Capital since 2003. In 2006, Ms. Satterfield also assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer for Glencoe Capital, the operating business of Leoville that makes lead-sponsored private equity investments. Before taking her present roles, Ms Satterfield had extensive deal experience with Leoville's investment businesses, serving as a Vice President on Glencoe Capital's investment team for three years. Responsible for leading due diligence and deal structuring efforts for various portfolio companies, she also worked closely with the management teams at those companies after Glencoe's investment. Ms Satterfield is also the firm's primary liaison with the banking community. Prior to joining Leoville Holdings, Ms. Satterfield was a First Vice President in the Leveraged Finance Group at ABN-AMRO's LaSalle Bank (now part of Bank of America). She spent the first few years of her career in the Corporate Banking Groups of LaSalle and NBD Bank (now part of JPMorgan Chase). Ms Satterfield earned her B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois and received her M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

Maurice A. Gordon
Principal


Maurice Gordon joined Stockwell Capital in 2003, and has responsibility for sourcing, executing and managing co-investments. He has 23 years of institutional investing experience, including 15 years of experience directly in private equity investing, and has participated in 35 coinvestment transactions totaling over $500 million, including 30 deals during his tenure with Stockwell Capital. With experience as a Director on the boards of 18 companies, he is currently a board observer for Stockwell portfolio company Vertellus. Prior to joining Stockwell, Mr. Gordon headed The Hartford Insurance Company's private equity investment group, managing a $800 million diversified private equity portfolio. Previously, he was the managing general partner for CIGNA Corporation's $750 million mezzanine limited partnership, which consisted of approximately forty mezzanine co-investments and direct mezzanine investments. At both The Hartford and CIGNA, Mr. Gordon was directly responsible for strategy implementation and executing numerous private equity fund investments and co-investments. Mr. Gordon began his investment career at The Northern Trust Company. He earned B.A. and M.S. degrees in Economics from the University of Illinois, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Thomas L. Hufnagel
Principal


Tom Hufnagel joined Stockwell Capital in 2002 and has 35 years of financial experience in private equity investing, alternative investment management, and commercial banking. Mr. Hufnagel has responsibility for sourcing, executing and managing investments for Stockwell, and has lead 14 deals totaling $166 million on value since joining the firm. He currently is a member of the Board of Directors for Stockwell portfolio companies Captain D's and Del Taco. Prior to his current role, he was with the State of Michigan Retirement Systems (SMRS), serving as both Administrator and Senior Portfolio Manager of its Alternative Investment Division, in this latter role concluding 30 deals for over $270 million. Mr. Hufnagel was ultimately responsible for directing all private equity investing activities for SMRS's pension funds. Prior to joining SMRS, Mr. Hufnagel was at the Michigan Department of Commerce and the Bank of Lansing. He earned his B.B.A. in Business Administration from Central Michigan University.

Matthew R. Klinger
Vice President


Matt Klinger joined Stockwell Capital in 2004 and has fifteen years of private equity and leveraged finance experience. Mr. Klinger is involved in all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing investment opportunities, due diligence, investment underwriting, and portfolio management. He has executed investments in a variety of industries, including automotive aftermarket, construction products, oil and gas, and telecommunications. Mr. Klinger was also instrumental in the acquisition of ReSearch Pharmaceutical Services, Inc., a pharmaceutical resource organization, and its subsequent public listing on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange. He is currently a board observer of Advanced Accessory Systems, Affinia Group, B27, and Taylor-Wharton International. Prior to joining Stockwell Capital, Mr. Klinger was a Vice President in both the middle-market and leveraged finance groups at National City Bank, where his primary responsibilities included originating and underwriting senior debt transactions for the private equity community and companies with market capitalizations of less than $1 billion in a variety of industries. Mr. Klinger earned a B.S. degree in Business from Miami University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

Joshua M. Becker
Associate


Joshua Becker joined Stockwell Capital in 2007 and has seven years of private equity and financial services experience. His responsibilities include due diligence, investment underwriting, and portfolio management. Prior to assuming his present role, Mr. Becker was an Associate for three years at Glencoe Capital, where his primary responsibilities included leading due diligence and transaction structuring efforts for controlling investments in middle-market companies. Prior to joining Glencoe Capital, he was an Associate at Ernst and Young Corporate Finance; before that, he was an Analyst at Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin. Mr. Becker earned a B.S. in finance and accounting with distinction from Indiana University and is currently pursuing his M.B.A from the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Seth G. Weis
Associate


Seth Weis joined Stockwell Capital in 2007 and has nine years of private equity, investment banking, and management consulting experience. His responsibilities include due diligence, investment underwriting and portfolio management. Prior to his current role, Mr. Weis was a Vice President in the investment banking division at Duff & Phelps, where he completed a variety of mergers and acquisitions and financial advisory assignments. Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, he was a consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Weis earned a B.S. with highest honors in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and earned his M.B.A. at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
